Treatments often form part of a comprehensive treatment plan but are also carried out as ‘one-off’ procedures – such as surgical wisdom tooth removal. I’m nervous about having oral surgery.
Many of our more nervous patients who are anxious to have treatment choose to be treated under conscious sedation, so we are also able to offer conscious sedation at all of the Ascent Dental Care practices to ensure your treatment is stress-free and comfortable!

- Tooth extraction and surgical tooth extraction– tooth removal may be required where teeth are so broken down or decayed that they cannot be repaired. Often, tooth extraction is a simple & straightforward procedure; however, a surgical approach is usually required.
- Wisdom tooth removal– impacted wisdom teeth and associated difficult access usually requires a surgical approach.
- Frenectomy– used to treat ‘tongue ties’, which can cause patients difficulty with speech and eating/chewing.
- Bone Augmentation– mainly used as part of our dental implant treatments; we create additional height and width of bone to increase implant placement for patients with missing teeth.
- Sinus Grafts– mainly used as part of our dental implant treatments; we increase bone height in the upper jaw, allowing successful placement of dental implants.
