Biography
Since graduation from University of Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2002, Faresh has continued to pursue further training and education, holding a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons and a Diploma in Implant Dentistry with Advanced Certificate in Bone Grafting from the Royal College of Surgeons.

As a co-principle of multiple practices, he has experience in surgical and restorative implantology, sinus augmentation, block bone augmentation and GBR, as well as extensive experience in I.V sedation.

His commitment to the profession is shown by the numerous national and international courses he has attended in Cosmetic, Restorative and Implant dentistry. Faresh has been placing and restoring implants since 2004 and has a wealth of experience in restorative dentistry and dental implantology with a special interest in full arch rehabilitation.

Faresh is also a co – principal of Ascent Dental Care, a small group of private dental practices in the Midlands.

Faresh welcomes referrals from his colleagues for Implant treatment.

Biography
Having trained at Guys Hospital, London, Gursh has completed a two-year training program with the Royal College of Surgeons in Restorative Dentistry. His active role in continuing his studies has kept him abreast of the latest advances in the dental field. Deeply committed to continuing education, Dr Bajwa constantly enhances his knowledge by participating in courses throughout the world.

In the important areas of orthodontics, he has been responsible for numerous treatments since 2003 when he started with fixed braces under the guidance of an orthodontist in the Midlands. He has completed further training in post-graduate courses in Orthodontics with Dr Derek Mahony, an internationally recognised practicing orthodontic consultant renowned for developing dental treatments as part of complete face enhancement.

Gursh has completed a one-year residency program with Dr Mahony in Passive Self Ligating Fixed Orthodontic Appliances as well as Dr Mahony’s three-year Master’s program in Full Face Orthodontics. This is currently being converted to a MClinDent in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics with the BPP university in London. Gursh also completed a residency at Dr Mahony’s orthodontic practice in Sydney in Dec 2010 where he was exposed to over one hundred patients per working day. He has also completed training with Dr Ian Hutchinson – an orthodontist who focuses on lingual braces and has completed numerous Invisalign, Lingual and 6 Month Braces cases.

Gursh visits other countries on a regular basis to gain experience in the latest techniques, as well as attending courses in the UK. He frequently takes part in study groups throughout the West Midlands.

Biography

Jasmine, known in the practice as Jazz, is our Implant lead. She predominantly works alongside Dr Faresh Desai and Dr Jas Bajwa helping them to change patients lives with Dental implants. She especially likes the surgical side of dentistry and she says that because we offer so many treatments at the practice it means every day is different.

Jazz is also qualified to take x-rays, impressions and nurse for sedation treatments.

Louise is our Group Operations Director and oversees the general running of the business across all practices.

Starting off her career as a dental nurse, back in 2000, Louise has developed her senior management skills working in both NHS and private settings over the years.

A qualified trainer she is passionate about developing fellow team members helping them to achieve their goals within the framework of the business.

She has a full understanding of all roles within the dental practice and is keen to ensure all patients receive the best care possible in our practices.
